I am a big advocate of eating well. I am not perfect. I eat pizza. I occasionally make the much dreaded stop at a fast food chain. I have late night snacks of cereal and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I love chips and salsa and my water intake is less than perfect on a daily basis. Confession: I give my children frozen waffles and chicken nuggets on a regular basis. Most people reading this won’t be appalled by anything I am saying.Chances are you too have similar struggles. |

I wanted to take a moment to show my true appreciation for all of you currently in a challenge with me and my team. Each day you are present in the group in some form or fashion. Maybe it is to post your exercise and food for the day. Sometimes it is to post your struggles and mistakes. Often it is to post your victories. Whatever it is for that day,it always makes me proud. Your participation each day is a step towards success. I have said this before, but I truly notice a difference in results between those who are active in our groups and those who are not. |

This was me one year ago when I began my Beachbody journey on January 9, 2012. Never in a million years did I believe I would be where I am today. I had never stuck to a diet long enough to see results and I truly hated to workout. I just knew this wouldn't last long, but it was worth a try. A year later, my mindset has changed, my lifestyle has changed and I am truly a happier person. I have learned so much from this journey about myself and the importance of clean eating and exercise. |

Do you ever get so fired up about something, so overwhelmed with excitement, that you just can't wait to get started? That is how my day started today and how this blog post was born. In November of 2011, a friend of mine told me about a30 Day Push designed by Chalene Johnson. She said it would help me set and achieve goals and get on track with my organization skills. It was free too. Now, I am one of these people that is willing to try something at least once if it is going to help me become better. |

Meet Tammy W. I was blessed to meet her almost a year ago when I was assigned as her personal Team Beachbody coach. I have watched her struggle, fail and get frustrated. I have also watched her SUCCEED, break plateaus, and gain enormous amounts of courage. I asked her to share her story because she is not the only one I work with who has struggles and failures when it comes to living a healthy life. She found success because she NEVER GAVE UP! Please read, be encouraged, and leave a comment below. |

Back in July of 2010 I met my coach and friend SommerTucker. Our chat was brief but we did discover our common interest in fitness. I was pregnant with my 3rdat the time and was interested instarting a program with Sommer after the baby was born. Like many, I feared the struggles I would inevitably face with getting back in shape and healthy again post baby. Not only did I already have a 2 and 3 yearold to care for, but I would have a brand new baby who would need me for everything! |

If you see me post onFacebook or if you have read any of my blog post, you have probably heard me say something about taking baby steps when faced with an obstacle or having faith to take the first step in any big endeavor. Many times I am referring to health related topics. This past week I have been confronted with my words many times and have found a new appreciation for the overwhelming feeling of fear and anxiety when faced with a huge mountain. <-----No, that isn't by before and after |

I love when people have an "a-ha" moment! Below is a message I received from a very busy and over stressed mom. Jamie P. started a fitness challenge with me in February of this year. She has had so many up and down moments and obstacles to overcome. I have been constantly amazed at her ability to keep a smile and keep it together through it all. There have been sudden job changes, scares with serious illnesses with her children, multiple bouts of the whole family getting sick, changes in family finance, out of town visitors- you get the point. |

By day 12 I had already lost 6 pounds, so I added more calories from the same recipes provided in the Ultimate Reset Meal Planner. It worked because I was able to maintain my weight for the remainder of the program. What I loved The Recipes! The food is really simple and for the most part, practical. |
